Arutchelvar
Dr.N.Mahalingam,B.Sc., F.I.E.
C h a i r m a n
Born on 21st March 1923, at Pollachi, Arutchelvar Dr.N.Mahalingam
obtained his Bachelor Degree in Science in 1942 from Loyola
college, Madras and Mechanical Engineering from College of
Engineering, Guindy, Madras in 1945. He became fellow of the
Institution of Engineers in 1981.
He has been conferred on Doctor of Laws by Bharathiar University,Coimbatore
in 1984, Doctor of Science by Anna University, Madras in 1988
and Degree of Doctor of Science by Tamilnadu Agricultural
University, Coimbatore, in 2000. As an Engineer, he has been
instrumental in promoting a large number of industrial and
business establishments.
Currently, he is the Chairman of several educational institutions
and Chairman of Sakthi Group of Companies |

M.Manickam , M.Sc., M.B.A.
V i c e - C h a i r m a n
Thiru
M.Manickam, M.Sc., M.B.A., is the eldest son of Dr.N.Mahalingam.
Thiru.M.Manickam is an industrialist, educationalist and an
outstanding administrator. He had been the President of the
"All India Sugar Manufacturers Association" and
currently he is the President of Indian Sugar Technologists
Association. He evinces keen interest in the development of
good infrastructure in the technical institutions and the
implementation of Computer - based training programmes for
the workforce and his vision is to integrate all the programmes
in our college towards computer orientation.
Currently, he is the Vice-Chairman of Sakthi Sugars Limited
and other industrial establishments and Vice-Chairman and
Correspondent of five educational institutions. |

Ramaswamy, M.E., F.I.V.
S e c r e t a r y
Prof.C.Ramaswamy is an erudite educationalist with over 34
years of rich experience in the filed of Technical Education
and innovative contributions to the development of Polytechnic
Education.
He has created an outstanding track record of institution
building, promoted industry - institution interaction and
developed international linkages to promote collaborative
educational programmes.
Being an experienced educationalist and administrator, Prof.
C.R.'s role for the stupendous development of our institutions
is quite laudable and worth emulating. His rich expertise
and experience in educational administration has enabled our
educational institutions to attain the unique status in the
international level.
Currently, he is the Secretary of the NIA Educational Institutions
run by our management.

Co-educational Engineering College established in the year
1998 to commemorate the 75th birth year of our beloved Chairman,
Arutchelvar Dr.N.Mahalingam and to cater to the needs of
students aspiring to pursue education in the field of Engineering
& Technology.
